1045pm at sengkang compass point UOB.

We will try to leave by 1100 so those who need to buy drinks, pump tyres toilet break etc, please try to do it before 1100.

I will be on MTB, roadies are welcome if u dont mind waiting for the slower riders Smile

As usual, there is the usual siao kia chiongsters, and slow relak riders. So, dun worry about speed, stamina or what bikes u are on, just come.

dist - 120km
avg speed - Dont worry about that

We will try to shorten our break time and HOPEFULLY this time can complete the 120km loop by 530 or 6am.

hi joel

this is double the distance I have ever ridden.... I had thought it would be 80 km like last night.... I fear I might find myself unable to complete the journey....

BUT still very interested... and the wife has not objected to the long hours.... hahhahahah

Like what I said, there is a great difference between riding alone and riding in a group in terms of speed and the distance u can cover.

If u really cannot make it, there is always taxi everywhere in Singapre.

Hi Joel
I was the one who spoke to you! I am the one who owns a foldable bike. I have another friend too, Choong, who also owns a foldable bike and we would like to register for this coming ride. We are also trying to get some of our kakis to participate.
Thanks a lot for organizing the ride!
Will sms you my contact no. as I don't feel comfortable posting this info publicly.

Thanks once again!
Calvin

Hi Joel
I notice that the route takes us through two Highways namely Nicoll Highway and West Coast Highway.
I am concerned that it is illegal to cycle on both highways. The traffic on both highways is also expected to be pretty fast.
Appreciate your comments.
Thanks very much.

both are not expressways, so no issue. traffic would be light in the wee hours of the morning.
